2. Pre Construction – This is all the information that can be made available throughout the design process. Be that a design pack, surveys or any preconstruction information, this is all used to create the final Facilities Maintenance Manual. The preconstruction information creates approximately 40% of the information needed for the Facilities Maintenance Manual at this early stage. It is also vital that this information is made available as soon as possible to the end user to produce a maintenance strategy.

3. Building & Civil EngineeringThroughout the “bricks & sticks” step of the construction, this step is to continually collate the actual items that are built on site. As elements of the project are built, the actual or As built information will become available and can be collated into the Facilities Maintenance Manuals. This includes As built information, Product Datasheets, any required testing or compliance information and the maintenance information for these elements.
